Pondering this morning, is this a big factor behind happiness?

I wanted to share this quick video for you, where I discuss the importance of perspective.

I've spoken about gratitude before, and how being grateful for what we already have in our lives can help us overcome low mood and sadness. But does everything come back to the way we perceive things?

Take losing a relationship for example. We often will get caught up in negative thoughts around the loss of that relationship but a change in how we see it, a shift in perspective might create more positive thoughts. We might look at the good in the relationship, we might look at the benefits of being single, we might look at the lessons we've learned from the relationship and break down of that relationship.

I know that a shift in perspective isn't going to cure all sadness, and depression. But if we can take more control of our thoughts and if we can take more control of how we see negativity… surely it could unlock happiness?

I'd love to hear your thoughts (as always) – so comment below!

Enjoy 🙂
