How to be Happy for the Rest of Your Life
In this video, author and depression counselor Douglas Bloch talks about research that shows that people who suffer fro depression can still experience a good amount of happiness in their lives. This is because even though 50% of our happiness potential is determined our genes, another 40% is determined by “intentional activities” that focus on how we think and how we act. This is in accordance with the depression recovery program that I write about in the book Healing From Depression.
